Recently in SSO, new horses have been added, with the ability to own up to six horses, that includes your original horse. You may sell any horse you've purchased for a few thousand Jorvik Shillings. However, you are not able to sell your original horse.
Each new horse costs anywhere from 300 to 890 Star Coins. When viewing horses to buy, each horse will have a profile. Within each profile will be the stats, breed, price, and short description of the horse. Once you press the buy button, a window to name your horse will appear, remember to take your time and choose your name wisely!
Star Stable is frequently adding new breeds off of a list announced last year.

Danish Warmblood
Danish Warmbloods are both the cheapest, and the most popular. These specific horses specialize in jumping. From right to left we have;

Morgan
The Morgan is popular for it's dun, buckskin cross, and various colors and manes. This horse is good as an all around horse, although it is not strong in any specific area. From left to right we have;

English Thoroughbred
The English Thoroughbred is a good racer, flexible and fast. Although not so great for jumping. These horses are most popular for the sleek black coat. From right to left;

Morab
The Morab is one of the top multi purpose horses, also popular for it's buckskin palomino type coat. This horse will be great for anything. From left to right;

Dutch Warmblood
Dutch Warmbloods are the second top all around horses, cheaper than the Morabs. Whether it's jumping, cross country, or dressage, they can do it. Due to the basic coats of these horses, they don't seem to be very popular. From left to right.

Congratulations, once you have carefully chosen and named your new horse, a loading screen will ship your horse to your home stable! Here you will find your new horse inside an empty stall, starting at level 1, ready to begin it's new life!
